FilmAssessment Update Post

With the summer coming to a close and tv shows about to begin in full force I felt I should have an update to inform my readers what I plan to review in the coming months.

Throwback Thursday Reviews

I'm glad to announce I will be continuing the Throwback Thursday series of reviews and have carefully planned out what I will be reviewing each Thursday for the rest of the year. 

Netflix series of reviews- last week I noticed that it was the first week that a major blockbuster wasn't released since I began the Throwback Thursday reviews and I managed to find spare time to go through Netflix and select some older films I hadn't seen before that I was interested in watching and would like to share my thoughts on so for the next few weeks I will review some films currently on Netflix that I haven't seen in their entirety. These reviews technically began last Thursday and will end September 17, 2015. 

Predecessor's to an upcoming sequel- On September 25th Hotel Transylvania 2 is coming to theaters so I figured I should review the first one. The Hunger Games series, the newer Bond flicks, a new Rocky film, and a new Pixar film are also included in this category

Star Wars Reviews- Some of my readers may not know that I am a huge Star Wars fan and since Star Wars: The Force Awakens comes out on December 17th I decided I should attempt to review the entire Star Wars Saga. You may notice that there is a break in between the prequels and the original trilogy and that is because in-between October and December there are a few big franchise releases.

9/10- Pulp Fiction

9/17- The Hurt Locker

9/24- Hotel Transylvania

10/1- Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

10/8- Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones

10/15- Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith

10/22- Casino Royale

10/29- Quantum Of Solace

11/5- Skyfall

11/12- The Hunger Games

11/19- The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

11/26- Rocky and/or an unselcted Pixar film

12/3- Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope

12/10- Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

12/17- Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi

12/24- No Throwback Thursday reviews are scheduled as of now due to Christmas Eve

12/31- No Throwback Thursday reviews since I will instead upload lists of the films I missed out on that I wish I had seen, the top 5 underwhelming films, my top 10 films of the year, and the top 10 films I am anticipating for 2016 similar to the lists I created last year. 

Television Reviews

I will continue reviewing Television shows as I have previously with highlights from the episode and a brief non spoiler review. I anticipate reviewing Once Upon A Time, Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Daredevil, Agent Carter, and Agents of SHIELD once again. I will be adding Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow to the shows I will review. So reviews will start in a few weeks when Fall TV gets up and running.

Movie Reviews

I compiled a list of every film release for the rest of the year I anticipate watching and reviewing but I might miss one or two this is just a rough estimate on what I plan to review.
