Won: Best Sound Editing.
American Sniper will be the first of my reviews of the films nominated for Best Picture. This is a great film and Bradley Cooper gives an amazing performance depicting Chris Kyle. His performance is the best aspect of the film and I am not surprised he received an Academy Award nomination. Sienna Miller also gives a good performance as his wife conveying what it is like to have a husband inverses and the stress and worry they continually struggle with. The film is edited well for very smooth transitions between Chris Kyle's tours as well as a really cool transition at the beginning of the film that I won't spoil. It's one of the greatest military action films that I have ever seen and highly recommend it if you are interested in Chris Kyle, his story, the military, or action movies in general.
