I went to go see The Judge this afternoon and really enjoyed it! The cinematography and acting were great as well as the story. Robert Downey Jr. was definitely a standout in this film although his character can feel reminiscent of Tony Stark at some parts of the film. However this film is able to demonstrate the range of Downey's acting abilities. Robert Duvall also gave a wonderful performance and really worked well with Downey. Some of the best parts of the film were some of the very powerful emotional scenes between Downey and Robert Duvall. Vincent D'onofrio was also great to see beside Downey and gave a notable performance. There were some beautiful shots of the landscape or of the city that I enjoyed. One thing about the film is that it seems kind of long while you are watching it even though it's only about 2 hours and 20 minutes long. But other than that I loved the film and would highly recommend that you go see it!
